With Christmas markets around every corner and winter drawing us towards comfort food, there has never been a tougher challenge for us slimmers. It's important to be ready to resist temptation at any given time. At group recently, our leader came up with the idea of having a "Survival pack" with us at all times to help protect our weight loss. Equipped with this, you are less likely to give into temptation when offered high-syn treats during the Festive Season. I've had one with me for a week almost and already it's helped me out of some sticky situations!
So what might this survival kit contain? Here's what I would recommend:
- Double chocolate Hi-fi bar (or Alpen light Choc and Fudge)
- Mini baby bel light cheeses (3 for Healthy A choice)
- Options hot chocolate sachet (2 syns) = ask for a cup of hot water if out and about, and stir it in!
- Pack of lean cooked ham/chicken
- Banana
