The Healthy A allowance is an essential part of the slimming world plan, it contributes to our vitamin and calcium intake and is something that really helps to add variety to the meals we can eat on slimming world. As well as dairy options, there are plenty of non-dairy options for healthy extra A, so those who are vegetarian, vegan, have food intolerances or a general preference for non-dairy are catered for.

Milk Allowances
You can choose from a variety of milks, including dairy and non-dairy options, as part of your Healthy Extra A. Be sure to measure accurately.

  • Whole milk (cow's) - 200ml

  • Skimmed milk - 350ml

  • 1 percent milk - 300ml

  • Whole goats milk - 200ml

Notes on Changes

The Slimming World plan now includes updated measurements for certain milks and cheeses. For example, almond and soya milks must be unsweetened and calcium-fortified to count.
