Tastiest Slimming World Burgers

Sometimes you just need a good ol' hearty burger. Luckily, this is yet another delicious food that can be enjoyed guilt and syn free. Here is my spin on the slimming world burger.

Ingredients

  • 1/2lb lean mince (5% fat)
  • Black Pepper
  • Sea Salt
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 Onion, chopped as finely as you can
  • 1 tbsp of soy sauce or worcester sauce

Directions

  1. In a bowl, mix all ingredients listed except for your egg.
  2. Divide the mixture in two and using your hands, form two balls (hehehe) and then flatten into two patties.
  3. Fry for about 6 mins each side, less if you like your burger a little more rare
  4. Serve with a load of salad, slimming world chips and optionally, a 60g wholemeal roll (Healthy B)

Syn Free Carbonara


Nothing satisfies the appetite quite like a hearty italian pasta dish. This carbonara is syn free on slimming world and can be enjoyed without a slither of guilt. (Note: The philadephia light is 75g for healthy A) -- Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 Tub Philadephia Light
  • Black Pepper
  • 100ml chicken stock
  • 2x lean Gammon steaks or 300g baked ham, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 250g Tagliatelle

Directions

  1. Spray a frying pan with frylite and add the chopped garlic, onions and gammon pieces.
  2. Add the tagliatelli to a pan of boiling water, allow to cook for 7-10 minutes
  3. Meanwhile, whisk the eggs and Philadelphia Light in a bowl and set aside.
  4. When everything in the frying pan is nicely browned, add the stock to the pan along with the pasta
  5. Allow 2-3 mins for the pasta to absorb the stock before adding your egg mixture
  6. Stir the contents of the frying pan, add salt and pepper to taste and serve
